The Tilt Effect Extension adds interactive 3D motion to elements on your Divi website. When visitors move their cursor over an element, it responds with a smooth tilt effect that creates depth and enhances user engagement.
Requirements #
Before using the Tilt Effect Extension, make sure you have:
- Divi Theme or Divi Builder installed and activated
- DiviAnimator installed and activated
- Tilt Effect Extension enabled
How to Enable Tilt Effect #
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Navigate to DiviAnimator → Extensions.
- Locate Tilt Effect.
- Enable the extension.
- Save your changes.
Once enabled, Tilt Effect settings will become available in supported Divi modules.
Enable #
Use the Enable toggle to activate or deactivate the Tilt Effect for the selected element.
- On – Enables the tilt effect.
- Off – Disables the tilt effect.
Max Tilt #
The Max Tilt setting controls the maximum amount of tilt applied when a user moves their cursor over the element.
Lower values create subtle movement, while higher values create a more dramatic 3D effect.
Example:
- 10 = Subtle tilt
- 20 = Moderate tilt
- 40 = Strong tilt effect
Perspective #
The Perspective setting controls the depth of the 3D effect.
Lower values create stronger depth and more noticeable movement. Higher values create a flatter and more subtle effect.
Example:
- 300 = Strong perspective
- 800 = Balanced perspective
- 1500 = Subtle perspective
Adjust this setting to achieve the desired level of depth.
Scale #
The Scale setting controls how much the element enlarges during the tilt animation.
A slight increase in scale can enhance the 3D effect and make the element feel more interactive.
Example:
- 1 = No scaling
- 1.05 = Subtle enlargement
- 1.1 = More noticeable zoom effect
Speed #
The Speed setting controls how quickly the element returns to its original position after the cursor leaves the element.
This value is measured in milliseconds.
Example:
- 300 = Fast response
- 1000 = Smooth response
- 3000 = Slow response
Lower values create a quicker reaction, while higher values create a smoother and more relaxed animation.
Tips #
- Use moderate Max Tilt values for professional-looking designs.
- Combine Perspective and Scale for a stronger 3D effect.
- Use lower Speed values for more responsive interactions.
- Apply Tilt Effect to images, cards, and featured content for the best results.
- Preview the effect before publishing to ensure it matches your design.
